Family Information

   My wife name is Edna Joyce Scallion Beavers and we have been married since March 13. 1964. (13th was on Friday). Edna and I have one daughter Edna Delores Beavers Tull born February 28, 1965 her family consist one son Kevin Brent Tull, one daughter Jessica Nicole Tull, and step-son Timmy Tull. We have two sons Thomas Larry Beavers Jr. born March 7, 1968, and Kenneth Wayne Beavers born May 10, 1973. Thomas has one daughter Kacy Daniel Beavers. Wayne has one son Cody Wayne Beavers and one daughter Candace Marie Beavers.

    As of this writing all still live in Mississippi Delores is a Computer Science Teacher at Ittawamba Junior College in Fulton, Ms. and still working on Doctor Degree. Thomas works as Auto mechanic for Richard Corder in Greenwood, Ms. Wayne works for Bob Black Wrecker Service in Winona, Ms.

   Hello my name is [Larry Beavers] and I am from [Itta Bena, Mississippi]...

I work for Agriliance in Greenwood, Ms in the Fertilizer Division my job consist of

maintenance of plant equipment and soil sampling using computer, satellite and other guidance systems.

Experienced with SGIS and Hgis Mapping software for farm fertilizer application. Got training on

the use of the above software, instructors was from Soilteq in Jackson, MN. Have been employed

with Agriliance since 2006.

    Thomas Larry Beavers Sr. was born in Prentiss, Mississippi on May 16, 1942. Father was Thomas Leroy Beavers and Mother  Beatrice Butler Beavers. Larry lived around Mount Olive, and Mize, Ms until he was about 13 years old. At that time his family moved to Sunflower, Mississippi and father worked on a plantation and the family worked 35 acres of cotton.

Larry worked on the farm and attended Blaine Grammar School and Moorhead High. After 3 years moved back to home place for about two years then moved to Vicksburg, Mississippi. Larry and his father worked for Anderson Tully Company on a cattle ranch at Bovina, Mississippi.

    At the age of 17 on July 19 1959 Larry joined the US Army and took basic training at Fort Jackson, South Carolina for 8 weeks, and from there he went to Fort Knox, Kentucky for advanced training for about 11 months. He was sent to Korea for 15 months and finished his 3 years at Fort Bragg, North Carolina and was discharged on July 21, 1962.

    Larry worked at odd jobs around Vicksburg, Mississippi for couple years, at this time he decided to be a mechanic on automobiles, did that for about 8 years then moved to Greenwood, Mississippi went to work for Yazoo Valley Oil Mill as maintenance mechanic. In 1971 he went to work for Town of Sunflower, Mississippi on Police Department. 1972 to 1976 worked for Inverness, Mississippi Police Department. At this time he went back to Yazoo Valley Oil Mill in Greenwood, Ms and was working part time with Itta Bena, Mississippi police department in 1979 he went full time with Itta Bena Police department until October 1983.

    Was out of work for about 1 year and went back to Yazoo Valley Oil Mill and stayed with them until 1993. Went to work for Honey Island Gin at Cruger, Mississippi for fall gin season, In 1994 went to work for Farmers Supply Cooperative as part time help was hired full time in September the same year. Stayed with Farmers Supply until 2006 and at that time Agriliance purchased the company and I was hired to work with them doing the same job as before. As of this update Dec 26, 2009 still working at age 67 yrs.
